En fransk fotograf, Marion, og en indretningsarkitekt, Jack, tager fra USA til Europa på ferie i håb om at sparke fornyet liv i deres forhold. Turen til Venedig går dog langtfra efter planen, ikke mindst fordi Jack har travlt med at indfange ferien med sit videokamera. Forhåbentlig kan de sidste to dage i Paris råde på sagen. Julie Delpy writes, directs and stars in this tenderly comical portrayal of two days in the relationship of a 30-something New York-based couple. French photographer Marion (Delpy) and American interior designer Jack (Adam Goldberg) decide to re-infuse their relationship with romance by taking a holiday in Europe. Their trip to Venice didn't really work out: they both came down with gastroenteritis. They have higher hopes for Paris. But Marion's overbearing non-English speaking parents and flirtatious ex-boyfriends, combined with Jack's obsession with photographing every famous Parisian tombstone and his conviction that French condoms are too small, only add fuel to the fire. Will they be able to salvage their relationship? |
